The Creative Team
Cyndi Whitcher — Founder and
Creative Director
Choreographer
A visionary artist with a lifelong instinct for movement, glamour, and unapologetic feminine power, Cyndi’s story began at age three in ballet slippers and evolved through the demanding world of professional dance. She began her training with Ballet Conservatory and is a graduate of Chula Vista Jr. & Sr. High School for the Creative and Performing Arts, where she trained under the direction of Javier Velasco of San Diego Ballet.
While still in high school, Cyndi earned acceptance into the San Francisco Ballet. She studied on a full scholarship at APA Academy of Performing Arts under the direction of Kevin Patterson and earned a full college scholarship to the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She also trained in commercial jazz under the mentorship of world-renowned choreographer and multifaceted artist Tiffany Billings, creator of Club Jeté, LA’s premier dance experience. Cyndi further refined her skills at some of Los Angeles’s most elite studios, Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio, The Edge Performing Arts Center, and Millennium Dance Complex, before receiving a full scholarship to the prestigious Tremaine Dance Center in North Hollywood, under the direction of Joe Tremaine.
During her scholarship at Tremaine Dance Center, Cyndi trained with some of entertainment’s most influential choreographers, including Terry Beeman, André Fuentes, Liz Imperio, Marguerite Derricks, Alex Magno, and Brian Friedman—creative forces behind icons such as Prince, Britney Spears, J.Lo, Madonna, Cher, Kylie Minogue, Mariah Carey, and Beyoncé.
Her performance career includes a starring role in City Moves!, a large-scale musical dance production by the San Diego Dance Foundation, as well as performances at Super Bowl XXXII and MTV’s Summer Shakedown, plus a Planet Hollywood commercial. She was represented by BBA Bobby Ball Talent Agency and Kazarian/Spencer & Associates(KSA), now known as KMR Talent.
Cyndi also studied acting with casting director Vicki Goggin at TVI Actors Studio in Los Angeles, known for its direct industry connections and classes taught by casting directors and established soap actors, including longtime General Hospital casting director Mark Teschner.
But Cyndi was never meant for just one stage. Her love of costume, visual storytelling, and fashion led her to study Fashion Design, where she took First Place in Evening Wear Design at the prestigious Golden Scissors Award Fashion Show. She later brought that same eye for luxury and personality to GlamourDog Inc., her chic, fashion-forward pet boutique.
Today, Velvet Bombshells is the ultimate expression of Cyndi’s world: bold, polished, seductive, playful, and impossible to ignore. She creates more than performances—she creates an atmosphere. Every detail is designed to make people feel the glamour, own the moment, and leave wanting more.
